Would the totem be like a Totem of Hearing allowing the player to see sounds through blocks making easier to locate mobs or players

Edit: Thanks guys and I like all your ideas

I like that idea for what it could do and maybe it could be called the soundray totem? I am not that good with names either.

what about totem of the listener, and when you hold it your vision goes all black, and when something makes sound you can see coloured ripples from the source of the noise?

Your idea is really creative, but I don't think it'd fit into Minecraft. It'd give an incentive to try and kill the warden, which the developers don't want. However, I like the idea, and it'd make a create mod once the warden is introduced!

It would be a good idea if you need the totem only once so you have to kill only one warden.

Maybe not a a totem specifically for hearing. But maybe the Warden could drop its antlers, and then you could attatch it to a helmet. When wearing this helmet any vibrations created by mobs or other things within a certain radius will give a glowing effect around them, but only for the time they make the vibrations. You would not be able to detect any through wool blocks. Additionally players sneaking would not be detected either.

it should be like a totem of undying but with more uses so people will want to use it

It would be the "Sculck Totem". When a noise is heard (footsteps, mob sounds, etc.), It shows kind of like glowing from Java.
