Remove sprinting knockback attacks

    I think they should be exclusive to charged attacks so they're used less often.

    I use it myself, but must admit it is not very intuitive for the average player. I mean, why would you get extra knockback each time you reset your sprint, and how do you get to learn that's a thing?

    For people who've never played PvP, this is a secret mechanic they mostly learn from other more experienced players.

    They could either remove it or make a new animation for those attacks so it's more obvious for new players to realize they're getting extra knocback.

    Some kind of 'thrust' animation could work.

    So I disagree because of three reasons:

    1. W-Tapping is also a thing in 1.9+ PvP. Even if less 1.9 Pvpers know about it, it sill works. As a 1.8 PvPer I am not that fammiliar with the exact mechanics of 1.9 PvP (as most 1.9 PvPers don't know a lot about 1.8), but in my experience it works.

    2. Minecraft was never an intutive game, remember the days where you had to look up every crafting recepie? I actually discovered w-tapping on my own while doing Tests. It would also make PvP a lot simpler and make it easyer for everybody. And I think PvP shoud be something that takes time and effort to get good at. Thats why many like me still play 1.8, because there are so many factors you have to take into consideration (aim, clicking, sprint reset, strafes, ping and many more). I'm not saying that 1.9 is bad, only that I think 1.8 offers more diversity in playstyles and has a much higher skillgap.

    3. The current combat test snapshots already feel like 1.9+ PvP for 1.8 PvPers like me. Haveing a CPS cap at 5 Clicks per second is already hard to get used to with my normal 14+ Clicks (I not complaining, it's not a bad thing). The +1 reach bonus with charged attacks already makes 1.9 Stype Players have a huge advantage about 1.8 Style Players. I think both styles (1.8 and 1.9) shoud work so that everybody is happy. Removeing w-tapping would turn off many 1.8 PvPers and make them stay in 1.8, and long term its bad to have a part of the Minecraft commumity on a 6 year old version.
