I like it but can you also add maybe wool clothing because it would be fun to be animal friendly and not have to kill a bunch of cows to keep warm just sheer sheep C:

Powder snow should damage nether-native mobs quicker (Blaze, Ghast, Zombified Piglin, Wither Skeleton, Enderman, Magma Cube, Piglin, Piglin Brute, Strider, Zoglin and Hoglin)

I think powdered snow should be able to be picked up by a bottle in a cauldron.

this could then be either drunk or turned into a splash "potion" to inflict the freezing effect it could also extinguish flames

    1) Players can put campfire underneath powder snow cauldron for a while to melt the powder snow.
    2) Powder snow blocks should be picked up by shovel with silk touch and be stackable.
    3) White fox, polar bear, snow golem, and stray can immune freezing damage, but suffocated to death when in the snow.

Taiga Villagers should also either be able to path find around it or die slower from it.

A few things specifically related to the freezing affect that I wish to mention. It would be nice if there was some sort of visual indicator that a mob is freezing, maybe have entities turn blue, or have ice particles appear around them?  Second, I feel that it would be fitting if, along with the slowness effect, strays would have a chance to freeze you temporarily which leads to my last thing. Similarly to fire aspect or flame, there could maybe be ice aspected enchantments that could temporarily freeze the target, incompatible with the fire ones. It could be a treasure enchantment, maybe found rarely in igloos. Just a few ideas, though I find the first one most important.

Freezing should become a potion effect so map makers can apply it without needed powder snow (it'll still work exactly the same in survival), and also, the bucket system for placing and breaking powder snow is going to be really annoying on a massive scale, so please make the blocks holdable normally, or at the very least make the buckets stackable (but that would cost a ton of iron so I think just normally holding powder snow like a block works better)

Because you can't stack powder snow buckets, this causes issues with storage and transportation of the material. What if you could craft four "Powder Snow Buckets" in a 2x2 grid to get four "Powder Snow Blocks"? These blocks would be stackable to 64, to make storage and transportation easier.

You could place the blocks on the ground, like any other block, but you'd still only be able to pick up the blocks with a bucket. That feature's unique, and I like it. This would just be to solve storage issues.

It would be excellent if powder snow could be right clicked with a shovel. Which would many snow fly in the direction you hit in. Similar to a ghast fire ball. It would make for a unique way to kill blazes. Thank you for your time.

When you reach the highest peaks of the mountains I think you should slowly freeze. Should could be height based or biome based.

It would be useful to have some visible indicator that an entity is freezing. Maybe have them turn blue, or have particles appear around them?

The freezing effect should have more impact in the game and not only linked to a block. Being in a cold biome should give you half the freezing effect and then when snowing or jumping into water it should give you the other half so you start taking damage. This freezing effect needs be A LOT slower than the one present in the powder snow and be faster when snowing. This could be avoided using leather armor or an enchantment to warm up you iron, gold or diamond gear.

Regardless if a player is wearing leather boots, if they are falling from a height, they should be able to sink into powdered snow. It's not super technical, but it was just a thought about: if I can make a giant powdered snow pit or something, I can jump into it like a little kid without taking damage, but also being able to scramble out of it without having to break my way out :)

You should be able to place milk buckets on the ground since there are now three other buckets in the game and you can place all of them. If you did it would spill the milk on the ground and if there were a lingering potion effect, it would get rid of it. As well the milk would just disappear after a second or two.

Polar bears, Arctic foxes, Strays, Goats and Snow Golems should all be completely immune to the freezing effect. Villagers found in snowy biomes should be treated as if they are wearing leather boots and perhaps Skeletons could be transformed into Strays via freezing kinda like Zombies transform into Drowned in water?

If you are hit with enough snowballs fast enough you will begin to take Freezing damage; Not at any rate one player could output but enough that you and a few friends or an entire firing squad of Snow Golems could potentially deal some actual damage if desperate enough.

Maybe a new fluid could spawn when Powder snow is in a desert? Like maybe Slush?

I personally think leather boots shouldn't let you walk on it. It would make more sense to me if that was what you could do with frost walker. I think leather should just limit the freezing effect when in the snow.

I think that there should be powder snow layers aswell, just like how there’s Normal snow layers.

It should be craftable with 8 snow layers and a bucket, which would make sense since one snow block is 8 layers.  Powder snow should be easily washed away with water, since it is so light and fluffy.

Just a thought, but maybe dandelion tea could be an alternative way to prevent or slow the effects of freezing.

Say a player is not wearing a full set of leather armor, or leather doesn't fit their aesthetic, or whatever. Maybe using a brewing stand to brew tea from a dandelion (possibly a roasted dandelion root), a water bottle, and maybe a bottle of honey (to make it even more difficult to obtain) could create a dandelion tea. This could also be achieved through a crafting table, or maybe a furnace if the creators wanted it to be easier to obtain.

Then, if a player is freezing, the tea could be used like a potion (or a weaker version of a potion) to temporarily slow or stop the freezing while they figure out what to do next.

The addition of tea would simultaneously help those that play the game for aesthetic reasons, as tea is a very cottagecore, Minecraft-esque beverage to begin with. Dandelions are a good choice because they already exist in the game, and dandelion tea is a real beverage.

Hypothermia should happen a little quicker and deal damage quicker if you ask me, it helps make mountain hiking more dangerous.

Maybe use boats or some other item (I would like the shield) to sled down the powdered snow.
