If a skeleton or a player shot an error at the player eith the sword in block position that arrow will bounce off the sword, If the player has their sword in blocking and is attacked by
a Non-Range or physical mob the damage will be cut in half, A Netherite sword can block 12 Diamond sword can block 10 times, Gold can block 8 times, Iron can block 6 times, Stone can block 4 times, Wood can block 2 times. If a sword has used all of it's blocks it will become a damaged sword and can only be repaired by combining it with its material in an anvil. Also the sword can only block arrows targetting the chest area if the arrow is going for the legs or the head the sword will not block that arrow. If a trident is thrown at the player that trident will not be blocked if the player is using a sword weaker than an iron sword. Their should be a material based system, Gold will attack slower but wood would attack faster because of the material it is made of, Also based on what material that weapon is, It will cause more knockback to the entity it hits. If a weapon hits an armor of a stronger material it would loose Durability faster, If an armor takes a hit from a weapon of a stronger material it would loose Durability faster. If a sword is used to block another sword of a stronger material it will loose more blocks.
