There are websites that use the API to provide a frightening amount of information about a player. While username history is necessary, things like caching every single embarrassing skin you might have worn, what capes you have, logging every server you ever joined, seeing your join date, and what players you talk to is very creepy. This is especially a issue considering this is Opt-out with no options to hide it. These websites also do not tend to let you delete it. Couple that with the fact that a lot of Minecraft's players are children and underage is a problem since COPPA. There is a lot of information that can be used to stalk a player from server to server and have experienced bullying due to these websites abusing the API and caching the info. I tried to ask the websites in question to delete it and they all refused.
I request that the API can give the option or go full private with the exception of name changes. That is all a player should need to see other than your skin in game. That data is between you and Mojang / Microsoft, Not for others to archive forever.
