Ruby Should be a Wealthy Currency for High Leveled Trading

People want rubies back in Minecraft and if they are to be added, I say that they should be used as a wealthy currency gem for trading that cannot be obtained by villagers. Trading with rubies would give higher leveled rewards compared to normal trades.

  Perhaps even a new type of village?

  One far more rare than the current ones. Where everything looks better, the villagers there there have better clothes and fancy trades. What you have is a good idea.

  Master rank villagers want rubies for some extra trades. These trades would yield enchanted gear, and maybe even a choice of (or maybe just random) enchantment or a choice of what gear? Also, the wandering trader will trade high-level trades for rubies (maybe even nether and end trades, though those would be somewhat suspicious)

  It needs more uses, it seems like a tier 2 emerald right now.

  I also want Ruby Ore, HOWEVER, its main use should NOT be trading. Its wasted potential and that's why they won't add it if its just another random useless ore. It needs to have its own unique functions.
