MCPE is supposed to have a feature that allows you to touch and hold an item in a crafting grid so it would be continuously crafted (it is referred to as "Press and hold the output slot to craft continuously"). I say 'supposed' as it currently still does not work, and it has not worked for at least 1 year now. However, even if this system was implemented, it would be sub-par compared to what it could be.
I propose that instead of continuously crafting items, all the items that can be crafted with the current recipe (and current resources inside the grid. Here is an example of how it would work: A player (using only touch controls) has 4 stacks of quartz in their inventory. They evenly distribute 3 of the 4 stacks into a 4x4 grid (the crafting recipe of a quartz block). They press and hold the quartz block in the output slot (for the same amount of time as it takes to drop an item in your hotbar in MCPE). 48 quartz blocks are crafted (as that is how many can be crafted with 3 stacks of quartz) and placed into the player's inventory, leaving the last quartz stack unaffected. Only what is in the grid at the time of pressing and holding will be used in the selected crafting recipe.
Please, add either this feature or a feature similar to this. MCPE is the main way I, and many others, enjoy Minecraft. One-by-one crafting is extremely tedious, and the only way to get a feature similar to this (to my knowledge) is to connect a controller (which is excessive).
