I think adding circular-shaped hills or holes with some rare rocks or ores in the middle is an interesting idea. During Minecraft live 2020 they were talking about archaeological sites and remnants of a long-gone civilization(s). Which got me thinking why don't we show something natural that is old and to remind their players of time or the wider world. I'm thinking of small semi-perfect craters that can be found in mega taiga or forest biomes on flat surfaces. although this will be rare to find these about as common as desert wells or fossils. After all, if there are large fossils of animals that lived long ago wouldn't a meteorite explain what happened to them? I was initially inspired by the Sudbury Basin, the third largest crater in the world, along with adding the new ore copper and the cave update, I think an old overgrown crater can be a good idea. I don't know how large these craters should be from 10 blocks to maybe very large bowl-shaped depressions with a large ancient rock in the middle would be very neat. But I would like to stress these should be rare and hard to find and more as an add on.
