Since 1.17 has been announced as the Caves&Cliffs Update and Cave Biomes have been confirmed, I figured I'd share a concept I've been sitting on!
Honeycomb Hollows - This biome would be lightly below the surface of Forest, Jungle, Birch Forest, and Flower Forest biomes, and be considered the Mushroom Isle of the Underground in terms of Biome Rarity. Filled with giant flowers [similar to the Giant Mushrooms of the Dark Oak Forest or the Mushroom Isle], Honeycomb and Honey Blocks, Grass, and Bees! Add onto this the removed Wax and Wax Block that were hidden in the files of the 1.15 Snapshots, and some new vegetation types, and this could be a Cave Biome to challenge the Lush Caves in terms of beauty!
To be honest, the Bees [and 1.15 in general], sacrificed new features in return for fixing many, many bugs. I think throwing Bees one more bone...(wait that's dogs)...flower(?) would be a perfect cap on Bees as a feature deserving of it's own update.
