Pickaxes should do more damage to armor durability

    Damage of armor depends of your damage, so axes already melt your armor really fast with critical hits, you'll reach a level of breaking 15 armor hp per hit with a diamond pickaxe just to "balance" it in diamond tier, which is insane, and even then if the other weapon gets more damage buffs they'll be even stronger. So making armor break fast with pickaxes would be already pretty unbalanced, especially when destroying low tier armors.

    Marko Nx's got a point. It'd be cool as an enchant, though, maybe only triggering when your pick is fully charged.

    A dedicated enchantment for pickaxe is not a really good idea it should be something that efficiency takes care of not piercing

    I agree with this! We need more variety in combat equipment. I think it's a fair idea for pickaxes to have lower damage, but being able to shred through the enemy's unbreaking equipment much faster. It also gives an incentive to carry extra armor sets.

    It should be only for pickaxes that could break the same ore too like iron to diamond and diamond to netherite,leather and chain should be unaffected

    Buena forma de cambiar el combate agregando el pico como forma de daño a la armadura del oponente y talvez generandole daño puro segun el daño de tu pico de desactiva la protección de la armadura

    A good idea on paper but if you simulate it, you would either die before breaking the armor if they use Swords/Axes, or you'll be at bay if they use Hoes/Tridents. So in a PVP situation, they're still gonna be useless offensively.

    Dude this idea is really good it would be nice for interrogations on an smp because you could break their armor
