    The 1 tick penalty only applies to auto attack, not spam clicking. Spam clicking is perfectly effective for dealing damage, so I don't know what you're complaining about.

    RadScaredeggs, currently with a sword you can hurt someone 3 times every second. Previously, you could only hurt them 2 times every second. Because you can only not attack when you've hit someone, this means that you can spam click just like in 1.8, except faster!

    I've usually found spam clicking to be slightly annoying in my experience, since they're basically a flurry of somewhat nerfed attacks that prevent you from getting to your target. However, I think that it'd be cool if "spam clicking" could be reimplemented as "bursts" of attacks. Maybe your first attack could be a charged attack, dealing higher damage, and the next three (or more?) hits would be slighly weaker "combo" hits. After those three, there would be a short cooldown, so there would be a cooldown between bursts instead of between individual attacks.
