This is actually a great idea. Also note that tipped arrows were nerfed to be 1/8th as effective as a potion, so they won't be used as cheaper splash potions.

Ok so does that mean that healing tipped arrows won't heal 3 hearts? If so, then how much do they heal? Sorry, I didn't really understand when I saw tipped arrows are 1/8 as effective to their potion counterpart and if they aren't that overpowered, then I will delete the damage and healing arrow list.

Yes, but the potion effect of the tipped arrow would have to be INSANELY weak/short, because if the arrow isn't consumed when you hit someone, you can do a lot of damage fast with arrows of instant damage and arrows of poison/decay.

So either tipped arrows shouldn't apply their effects, or the arrows should be consumed when you hit someone. Otherwise this sounds pretty OP to me. But a great idea that I've wanted for a long time!

I was originally thinking when you would hit someone with a tipped arrow, the arrow would turn into a normal arrow. But I liked the shorter time limit and weaker effect better because it's not like the arrow is being shot from a bow.

Blast Burner I tested it, and harming II arrows deal about 2 damage, while healing II arrows heal about 2 damage.

Rattlesnake Biscuits Oh I didn't think about that! The arrow should definitely be consumed for balance.

I love this idea. It’s not useful, but small detail like this make the game much better

If arrows would be solo weapons, they should definitely be consumed with every hit. Otherwise you could keep dealing damage and potion effects without losing anything at all.

maybe they could have durability too? otherwise you go into a fight with an arrow, hit someone and have it break instantly, which would be bad.
