    Rather than increasing the default Crouch speed, maybe you could Run while Crouching, which would also make a little bit of sound.

    I like the idea of Crits from behind, (although it's not entirely necessary seeing as how you can just jump attack) though I think the best way to implement it would be using the 200% Charge mechanic, which would solve the issue of being able to spam it, while able to clearly understand when you can and can't do it.

    Cool idea! I could see myself sneaking into a Pillager outpost this way instead of going in bows blazing and getting killed, ha ha.

    I agree with RedSol6419 on using the 200% charge mechanic for criticals, as well. Maybe on weaker/unarmored monsters, this could amount to a stealthy "assassination?"

    I don’t think critical hits should work like that. It’s a little complicated. Rather, critical hits should be only available through charged hits (cool-down). That’s something a lot of people want. You can see the posts and comments for that in this category (there are many) and vote for them if you want to.
