End Update (was: Ruby Ore)

An end update would be perfect for 1.18!

here are some concepts

- Ruby ore

They are equivalent in every level to netherite, except instead of having fire resistance, it has fall damage resistance (which fits in with chorus fruits eaten up high being able to save you from fall damage and shulkers trying to get you to die from fall damage) And enderman are not hostile to you if you wear it. Basically the goal is to get half netherite and half ruby armor for full protection

Additional notes: Rubies were supposed to be added but because of red stone being similar they were replaced for emeralds. Rubies in the end, however would be distinct since there is no red stone in the end.

- new biomes (not like he nether tho)

the nether got amazing new biomes in the 1.16 update, however the end, as a barren wasteland should not get biomes like those. It doesn’t fit in. However, it should still get new biomes such as chorus fruit forests with a purple textured grass broken with a pickaxe, a biome with black textured grass that has a chance of giving you blindness for a second while walking on it, and that biome enderman don’t spawn since they are afraid of being blind in that biome, a biome where endermites can spawn in, and yeah that’s about it for it biomes. 
A new structure. These structures would be called “End bases” or something that resembles that. The idea behind it is that enderman are people who were humans but accidentally spawned the wither and flee’d to the end. Then they made a base.

    The devs decided not to put rubies in the game because one of them is red color blind.

    And, I doubt they'd like to make Netherite obsolete after just adding it.

    I personally think that the netherite armor is more than enough as having better tiers of armor can imbalance the game. Also this ruby thing is so wanted by everyone so it's just a matter of time until it gets added to the game.

    A use for Rubies (2/2)

    so in my opinion there should be rubies in the shipwreck loots, in the pillagers outpost loots, in the woodland mansion loots and also in the underwater ruins loots (so players would explode more), maybe even in the archaeological sites, there we could find both rubies and emeralds, to explain the transition from rubies to emeralds (from the sea to the surface of the earth, perhaps creating a story of how they once used rubies for traiding and now use emeralds for traiding). Rubies would be really rare (also because it would be difficult to mine them from under the sea), I think that inside the ocean monument instead of gold there must be blocks of rubies, to make the loot more important, also because now we find a lot of gold in the nether ! And illagers would drop rubies instead of emeralds. In short, like the illagers who are the out cast of the villagers, the rubies would also be the out cast of the emeralds. Adding rubies to minecraft would be really cool especially for veterans of the game! (illagers should have red eyes, like villagers have green eyes)

    I think it should only be found in the end, if it isn’t then it just makes netherite completely obsolete. Also, it should only be in the end islands so players can only get it after beating the game and they can’t use it for the end fight.

    i dont think rubies should be able to make amour or weapons

    they should be used for magic items like staffs

    we already have a bunch of tiers or armor and netherite just got added

    rubies should spawn in the overword also

    dude you know we have red stone so it would not be a problem to have this as well cuz color blind does not matter

    ok ruby could be found in overworld as well, but it's only a 1 out of 50% chance. and in the end it's a 5 out of 50% chance, and in end islands it's a 15 out of 50% chance, (if ok).
