maybe Brutes should drop gold lining, or an item you can put togheter with any armor to make a gilded version of it. brutes need some drop anyway

30 blocks are way too much it should just be one

I would rather then it take a lot of gold (like 1  ingot or so)and other stuff to make it it would just lower the durability and some of the effect of netherite and make it in between diamond and netherite

Thanks for the feedback on my feedback! I do agree that 30 blocks is a lot, but I couldn't seem to find another way for it to be expensive, but also not be crafted in some ridiculous way.

I think 4 gold blocks arranged around the netherite armor in a crafting table or a gold block in the smithing table with the armor piece and it wouldnt affect durability unless by a small bit removed and it would add golden lines to the armor just to make it look a bit nicer.

I think netherite armor deserves gold lining anyway, since each ingot is made with half gold.

How about just one block of gold because remember, each block is one cubic meter and the player is two blocks tall. Plus your only gilding the armor not covering it in gold, logically 30 cubic meters of gold would be to much.
