Offline mode: Allow players to launch the game when there's no connection
Minecraft Dungeons is a great couch game. 4-players coop is great to have in 2020 with the corona-virus outbreak.
However, now that I spent the day with no connectivity at all, I had no way to play with people at home. Bored for 24 hours, seeing all these games that require going online because of DRM. Games I spent money on…
If I own the game, I think that I should be able to play it offline. It even has an "offline" mode, doesn't it? And Microsoft Store offers an option to define which device can host offline play (see under Settings). My home PC is my "offline device".
So why would Minecraft Dungeon constantly check for connection and disallow me some hours of fun?
