I have completed the game on Apocalypse, found every secret there is in the game, and reached the bounds to power.
Right now, this game has reminded me a ton of Spiral Knights, but it's missing the sole important activity that the latter has. Also, there is no end-game content to keep it up, so, here's my solution as we anticipate for the DLC (to those who own it, ofcourse):
New activity, Dungeon Delve:
- Procedurally generated
- Consist of multiple layers (multiple maps)
- At the end of each stage, you either proceed to the next, or go back home
- New kinds of puzzles
- Daily/Weekly rotation of theme (jungle/desert/etc...)
- Secret levels accessible only by chance, and not by finding them around
- Loot, and more loot
- Progressively harder as you go deeper in
That's what I have in mind in summary for a new activity. It would be constantly changing day to day (or week to week) and there would be different puzzles and areas to explore. Maybe add a new variety of mini-bosses at the end of each 3 levels as to defeat them in order to proceed. You could also, theoretically, add new mobs alongside the mini-bosses, and therefore add way more content to the game. As to the "secret" levels, you could perhaps have a loot-only level (not many mobs, more emerald giving chests, maybe a golden chest), you could also have an arena lair (you get ambushed, if you win, you get loot. Then you either get ambushed again, or leave).
This game has a lot of potential and would be a shame to die right now.
