Its an amazing idea. Maybe you could add a custom boss or something or you could import something from Tynker into the level.

Also you should be able to put your own loot but it goes to the level there at that way its not over powered

The Minecraft Dev teams added Ancient Hunts instead of this. I do think that Ancient Hunts are fun. However I would definitely love to have the option to create your own dungeon. Maybe each player could have 3 slots that sync when you upload your character. Which then saves 3 of your custom Dungeons that you created.

This truly is a great idea, it's training but not repetitive because there's always new levels to play and explore. So I think this should be added to Minecraft Dungeons, and it shouldn't have to be paid for either.

I think that it would be really cool if not only we could create custom dungeons, but custom enemies, loot, rooms, and maybe even enchantments as well (but only gotten from the dungeons).

Maybe we would post them on like a new page for the map that's for playing, uploading, and reviewing the dungeons too.

Overall, I think this is an excellent idea, and I hope this gets added because I this would make the game infinitely better, for many players.

(P.S. I think the mobs like the warden or wildfire and other upcoming/canceled mobs would make a great addition to the creator.)

I think they could do quite a lot with a dungeon editor. I had thought that they should make the editor allow you to create stages using mechanics like those in Minecraft, for example you could set up doors and switches in you dungeons using a Redstone system and you would get to choose what parts of the system are visible in game in case you want these systems shown to get that Minecraft aesthetic. They could even have a system for making an intro to your stage, probably not dialogue but just a choice of camera panning like in the game. The sky is the limit.

They could even add a game mode that do an arcade run through a bunch of randomly selected player made dungeons similar to Mario Maker's 10 Mario Challenge where you would only have a set number of lives to get through as many player dungeons as possible with the lives given.

I have seen a lot of people saying things along the lines of “This would be way too op, people could just make a level filled with chests and no enemies!“  and I do understand why they say that, however, I came up with a way to limit players from doing this kind of thing:

Having four different kinds of levels you can create that each have a maximum for things like chests or pots, and a minimum for things like bosses and enemies such as:

Normal- The standard level type, has a medium amount of allowed chests/pots, and a medium requirement for enemies, and no limits on bosses, with average loot.

Secret- Similar to the normal type, but with a slightly lower enemie requirement and chest/pot limit and can be unlocked in all normal/boss levels.

Boss- Counts as a boss level for apocalypse+ and has higher requirements and better loot, as well as more chests/pots and harder enemies.

Freestyle- A level with no limits, however anything that happens in the level doesn't actually save to your character to prevent it from being OP.

the construction of the levels could be based on minecraft java, in fact the game is based on minecraft java.

for it to be balanced you can't control loot drops and it would be random like the story mode.

another way for it to be balanced is that it can be like wonderbox were the loot and gear you get is only eclusive to the level you play but you will get a reward at the end of the level like the storymode depending on how dificult the level is.

Great Idea I love this but I think it should cost gold or emeralds to build one or to get parts like spikes and "slicers" (From desert temple)

That would be great! Maybe also preset chunks that already have blocks and maybe a first person mode to build just like in normal Minecraft!

I have seen many youtubers and friends lose interest in the game as it is losing replay-ability and this would help the game be revived bring loads of new players to the game allowing it to have harder levels for those who are hardcore and lets certain verified levels give certain rewards.

What makes Minecraft the most successful game in history is how you can change everything about the game through mods and build whatever you want this could help associate the game with Minecraft and rejuvenate the game I love this idea and I think its long overdue. But, I get for the developers this has many things they would need to develop over a long time but I think that some indication of that they've considered this and are working on it would bring back abandoned veterans.
