Joining in Minecraft earth with QR code takes some time and practice which if the build plate adventure or adventure map has hostile mobs is certain to result in the death of the hostt before the team has a chance to join. This sets a bad example for recruiting friends to play.
the work around is to deploy mobs from the hot bar after joining, but the downside to that is that you give up precious slot space for mobs In lieu of other items more useful to the adventure like weapons food and arrows.
1.keep mobs passive or adventure frozen until joiners/host signal “go” with a countdown, swipe or first htbar adventure map interaction.
2. or allow host participants to summon mobs from their own inventories w/o need for being held in hot bar.
