Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

A use for the fletchling table, chnage a bow into a crossbow or vise versa.

No, if enchantments become cross compatible on bows, they'll easily be the best weapon in the game by far. As if they weren't good enough already.

I think there should be a use for the fletching table, but dont think it should be this. Perhaps it could be used more similarly to a stonecutter where you obtain more of a crafted resource for the inputs than you would at a crafting bench? And perhaps be the only way to make the potion dipped arrows. Maybe bring back the minecraft quiver, and use this to upgrade it, so I can get these arrows out of my pocket and into a carried inventory that makes more sense...?

This doesn't make sense. A crossbow is not just a bow with extra steps. It's a whole different weapon, created differently. And if the 2 weapons can have the same enchantments, then the game would be broken. Bow are stronger, but crossbow are more precise and can use fireworks. The 2 weapons should stay different
