Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I like the idea of azurite blocks extinguishing players on fire. There isn't too much of a way to do that in the Nether, so it'd make sense. I only think that for what it is, it needs more uses than just putting out fires.

Your ore could be made into a ingot by mixing a gem and qruatz in a crafting table, then being added to iron in a smithing table. The armor or tools would be as strong as diamond, but easier to enchant.

I figured Azurite could also be turned into a powder that the player can eat at a speed similar to dried kelp that would cure the wither effect. I'm not sure that'd be enough though.

Perhaps the mystic furnace wouldn't require a furnace to make, so in Nether only challanges you can actually get Netherite Gear by smelting ancient debris in one. (since cobblestone isn't available)
