Nerf Bone meal

Bone meal is way to overpowered at the moment. It should just decrease the time that the plant will take to grow, rather than just growing it instantly. Saplings and crops should have a tag call 'fertilised' that, when active, will make the plant grow at near twice its normal speed.

    Bone meal is already reasonably difficult to get since you have to obtain it from skeletons and they're pretty hardcore without a shield.

    I agree with you that it is way to easy to grow plants now and makes blocks such as ladders obsolete if you can just bonemeal a whole ladder system. Or at least make it so different plants from the nether dimension require a different type of bone meal. maybe a wither bone (new drop from wither skeletons) that can be ground down to be wither bone meal that fertilizes plants such as netherwart, twisted vines, and weeping vines in the way you thought.
