Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Add Allophane, a new block for the Nether

So, here's what allophane looks like in real life, compared to what it could look like within Minecraft:

Allophane would be a granite like block, that exists solely to spice up the underground and look good. Allophane wouldn't have a purpose, but it would make the Nether look a lot more interesting, which is what Mojang are doing in the Nether Update, so I think it would fit perfectly.

Its kinda interesting, but if its only purpose is building then its kinda useless, as i can only see a couple niche uses for building, and that's not good, so some alternative use would be nice (like maybe halving the redstone power that goes through it?)
