So I recently upgraded my computer and moved from using a crappy HDD as my boot drive to using a 500gb SSD for my os and important games/resource-intensive games with a 1tb HDD for less important or easy to load games, as you probably know Minecraft doesn't really have the 4k ultra 420fps raytracing r(t)x2069 AAA graphics standard with most games, so I decided I want it on my HDD.
then I found out how ghetto it is to put it on a D: drive, you just have to cut and paste your .minecraft folder onto your second drive, I feel like it would have been nice to choose where it goes when installing the game, I mean the closest thing we have is choosing where to install the versions but that gets a little iffy when you start messing with OF.
I mean maybe this isn't as much of an issue as I'm making it out to be but idk it just doesn't really like how I put the launcher on my d drive then the game itself gets all cozy on my SSD like nah bruh this is private property, i just think the ability to choose would be nice. :)
