Microsoft wants more money, we get it (no offense). With the success of the Marketplace, I don't see why there needs to be advertisements on the main menu of Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Although content is greatly promoted when it is featured on the Marketplace button, it removes the Minecrafty feel. Depending on the content being advertised, it can make the game seem cringey or little kiddish. On lower-end devices, the Marketplace animations can cause lag and make people need to wait longer for everything to load. The Marketplace should be a choice for players. Dont ruin the simple, classic feeling that Minecraft has given players the last 10 years.
(Alternative) If you don't agree that the Marketplace adveertisements on the main menu should be removed, they should at least be reduced to simple pictures. For example, the Toy Story 4 Mashup could feature a picture of Woody, nothing else. This wold keep the main menu that, not just Marketplace customers, but everyone sees clean, simple, and Minecrafty.
(Alternative) My final alternative to the Marketplace content promotions is the ability to get rid of them by paying Minecoins. There could be an option in the Marketplace to, for a fee, stop advertisements from displaying on the main menu of Minecraft. Thanks for reading.
