Currently, when you log into the game and you're AFK at a server or in a single player world then try to log in to another server, your session has timed out and you have to quit out of the game, restart the launcher, and relogin.
The login function should happen when you connect to a multiplayer game within the game, not the launcher. The way it is now adds a lot of unnecessary extra steps for something that should be handled with one.
This happens quite often on Java and is highly irritating.
