Added a bypass to the item requiring the death of animals.

In the game to eat, we already have the possibility to eat other than with animals. But for example, to create an enchanting table, there is no choice but to kill animals, probably in other cases as well. That's it, I think it's clearer.

  Interesting suggestion, but adding meat substitutes doesn't fit well in Minecraft. Making fake versions of meat for modern vegans is a very new and quite scientific thing, compared to Minecraft's more medieval setting.
  There are always vegetables, and golden carrots.

  Well, even if tofu has been popularized recently as a good protein source, it is really ancient (at least 1000 years old). And of course, soya and tofu are cliché but Minecraft is a simplified version of our world, they aren't going to add 36 varieties of beans... Soya seems the best one to me because it has a lot of derivative products including other meat substitutes: nattõ, tempeh, soy sauce... This means a lot of recipes! All of this could be implemented in a big food update. Speaking about meat substitutes, there is also seitan which is made from wheat, already in the game.

  Now if you only want more varied food of vegetable origin, there are already posts asking for beans, nuts, greens (lettuce, spinach), peas, fruits... But I don't think this is the topic here, is it?

  @MohamedWW That would make more sense in general, but he did say 'meat-based' which implies substitutes.

  Also, more vegetables is a very common suggestion, meaning even if that were the meaning I would have to report it as a previously considered idea.

  You don't have to kill animals to be successful in survival, even though that makes the game easier.
