(Gameplay) Daily rewards and monthly themes

A daily reward that gets better as the month goes by would be good. This would encourage players to log in every day. These rewards could be based on different biomes and it would be cool if the best rewards at the end of the month were new build plates or player skins themed around the biome of the month.

    Heck yes! This is what I was looking for. Also if you go for a long time you could get to the point where you get mine coins.

    I feel like daily rewards and such are a cool idea, but will begin to clutter the game and eventually make it feel like candy crush. We already have to wait for crafting and smelting (an exponentially greater amount that normal) and can barely access resources without going to an adventure (which is difficult in areas that aren’t cities or suburbs). I would love a rewards system, but executed poorly would be a very negative impact to a game that already is not feeling like Minecraft’s benefits of not being blaring about in app purchases. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me.

    OMGED NOPE!! that daily login stuff is everywhere pls no, on the surface it might look like a good idea but it overall takes away interest from the game instead, why bother going on adventure when u can just get stuff by logging in daily?(if thats what u mean by daily reward).

    Reply to "Mercutie73215" Minecoins are the main currency that REQUIRES real-life money, unlike rubies, which even though can be bought are still easy to get. This means that minecoins should never be given out for free or for a petty job.

    People pay to buy Minecraft. That shows that they believe that they'll play it often enough that it's worth the money. Thus they need no extra incentive to get on, because only people who are playing Minecraft often will have bought it.

    Plus, Mojang would have to pay a lot of people to keep up with a new item every day. If they did that, and then gave it away for free, they would be losing money. 

    Minecoins would never again be used for skin packs, because free skins would be available every day. More money opportunities would be lost.

    And pretty soon they'd run out of biomes to base the skin/item ideas on.

    I love the idea, but sadly, I can't see how it would work.

    (And as long as the idea is out there people will be begging for free minecoins every day.)

    this is a sandbox game where creativity lies at your fingertips 

    adding a daily bonus turns it into a crap game not worth the money like Crossy Road or something

    this game is too creative and original for that dude.

    Daily rewards? I rather they work on more update content rather than throw-away skins. They already have the holiday give aways over december and free stuff every now and again.
