It may just be me, but I dislike the vibrant contrast between the red of the nether and the blue of this variant of the netherwart forests, and feel that it would better fit alongside the the other blues of the Soul Sand Valley (the blue Fire and Render Fog).
The blue netherwart forests should grow/generate on soul sand blocks instead of netherrack, and itself be a variant or sub biome of the new Soul Sand Valley, while the red netherwart forest stays in the rest of the nether.
Edit: What I mean to say here, is that the cyan is such a drastically different color to the nether it was showcased in, that it looks like what you would find in a mod, and not like it belongs in the vanilla game. This would not be as much the case if it was a Soul Sand Valley Biome. Furthermore, if the two forests yield different resources, it would give the player a better reason to traverse the Valleys than just "exploration." If the resources are the same, it would not be unlike how different biomes in the overworld sport different trees. In other words, it would be a way to give more character to the dreary Valley, since the general nether already has quartz ore, lots of lava, magma blocks, and glowstone, on top of the fact that it'll have its own forest variant.
