There is a very useful mechanic on Java Edition. Basically, when sticky pistons receive 1 tick redstone pulse, sticky piston leaves the block it was pushing behind, while the piston it self getting retracted. Many Java redstone contraptions use this mechanic. It would be very cool feature to see in BE. It will break many contraptions however. To prevent this you could also introduce Honey Pistons. The difference will be that Honey Pistons won't block drop while regular Sticky Pistons will. Bedrock players will have to change all of their pistons in their "broken" contraptions while Java players won't have to do anything.
