Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

I agree that we need an easily accessible source of water bottles in the nether, though I don't think we should get it from basalt. I have an idea for this called the Nether Mooshroom, if you are interested. P. S., try changing the title of your post. I think most people don't read it because it implies that water buckets can be used in the nether, instead of it being a way to obtain water bottles.

Maybe you can fill bottles from clicking ghasts. It would be a nice spin on “uneasy alliance,” and while it would require a way to get string, nametags, and anvils in the nether, it would surely be fun an challenging. Also makes sense lore wise, since ghasts do have tears.

Just to clarify, it would only be plain water bottles.

Well, Mojang did this suggestion by adding water bottles to Piglin trades. Fantastic, thank you Mojang to allow us to use brewing stand in Nether if we live only in Nether.
