The game has the capability to determine Structures as "Spawners", making the spawners in dungeons, mine shafts and stronghold obsolete.
Strongholds and Mine shafts should naturally spawn silverfish and cave spiders;
Desert temples should spawn Husks;
This way things should get a little more dynamic and befitting with the current state of the game and future updates.
If the cave update happens, the dungeons might be re-worked, hopefully with no spawners.
Not saying they aren't useful, just saying spawners are so early Minecraft that they don't quite fit anymore, like the brick pyramid (the only way to acquire brick in early days of Minecraft).
My bad, I forgot about map makers, and I agree they need this, so I am talking more in removing them from survival (but not removed from the game, as in you could get them in creative).
As for XP farms, there are other options in the game (XP farms make bottle of enchanting useless, as they are too much of a hassle to get).
Oooh, just remembered about the zombie / abandoned / deserted villages, stuff like this that makes the world more coherent and more ...alive... (I know what I did, and I'm not ashamed of it :D )
