(Interface) The ability to zoom into plates without moving your device

Not sure if it's feasible or possible I think adding a zoom function would make things a lot easier I've noticed it even though you can move your device closer to your bill plate you still can't get close enough to do things I think is zoom function with make that a lot easier especially when you're trying to make things I'm assuming this may not be feasible but it would be a lot simpler so anyway thanks for looking hope you guys take notice either way it's still a fantastic game I'm glad I finally got to Joy it

    I second this! It's kinda frustrating not being able to do the zoom 'pinch'. This would be a great addition.

    To have the ability to move around and through the build like in minecraft creative mode would be good. 

    this would allow you to see into underground areas.

    Very much, especially when doing a dungeon I don't want to have to walk into a store or traffic to be able to look into the pit

    I agree since most of my dungeons and buildplates seem to end up actually moving around and at about eye level I can't get an overview of anything or build anything higher than "groundfloor".

    I agree with this, though I think Zorgsen and I might be having trouble because we don't know how we're supposed to be placing this. I would ask for a tutorial on how to use that game mode, especially for basics like "use tables" or floors or whatever. Also, what's the difference between the "Build" and 'play' symbol buttons in that context?

    +1 for addressing the common confusion noted here. All we know is that stuff doesn't work until it does. I think we need a video by an expert at Mojang to explain what the game is telling us with sparkles, and how we can fix placement problems. I'm having a problem with builds coming up to eye level too.
    @orcaman98 - the Build button is for editing. You have your inventory. The arrow next to that is for placement/play. You get a backpack there. You can interact with the build but when you exit it returns to the last build state.

    When using the build mode, it really is necessary to be able to rotate it around and move the baseplate.... It's very frustrating when you can't get the angle you are wanting and end up not being able to build what you want.... I would go further as to suggest a zoom feature for the adventure mode... Too many times I'll set the adventure plate down and not be physically capable of going far enough to actually see into the hole... Just now I set my adventure plate down and it was so far away from me I would have had to walk thru a filing cabinet and a wall in order look down into it 🤦🏻‍♀️ could only get the top level of blocks and had to go back to map😭

    zoom on the larger buildplates definately but we also need rotate buttons as that doesnt always work by dragging the buildplate!
