This idea is to introduce a neutral npc, the LizardPerson. They are a nomadic race that sets up a camp of tents, campfires, and cauldrons anywhere in the world. They stay for two in game days before leaving. If attacked, they function similar to Pigmen and every Lizard Person in the area will become hostile. They can trade meat and fish with the player for items like crops, which they will then plant, and in two in game days a Lizard Person village will generate, which can be raided by Pillagers just like normal villages. They will also spawn Iron Golems, and lizards, instead of cats, which can be tamed by raw chicken or beef. The village will start off with only a few houses, but eventually more will spawn, and even caves can generate to simulate the fact they can mine. The Lizard People will automatically become a passive mob if they create a village, but attack any intruders, like new players to the world, or hostile mobs. Lizard People cannot turn into Zombies. I'd also like to imagine that if the player constructs a Nether Portal, the Lizard People will enter it and will live in the nether, where they cannot create villages, and cannot trade.
