I believe that trapdoors above ladders are climbable in the Java edition.  It would be a nice little quality-of-life improvement for the Bedrock edition.

I second this parity request. This was an ability on the original PS4 version of the game and I was a little shocked to find out I can’t do it in bedrock.

In my opinion you should only be able to climb the crimson_trapdoor.

    Because of its horizontal textures.

But it would be cool for some textures, like the acacia_trapdoor, to have a monkey bar ability so you can shimmy along the ceiling.

This feature has been in Java Edition since 2015. It would be very nice if this could be added to Bedrock Edition as well. Also, you should add (Java Parity) to the title of this post.

Having to time jumping up one block off the narrow top of the ladder is starting to get a bit old. Hoping we can have this functionality back in Bedrock.
