(Java Parity) Being able to change your main hand to left.

I am left-handed (and use the mouse with my left hand) so I use the option for the main hand to be set to left on Java edition. However, this is missing from the other editions of Minecraft. If this feature was on bedrock then maybe I would use windows 10 edition more.

    It is something where it isnt much but its nice to have, although its probably not added yet because of the fact that bedrock is also on platforms that wouldnt benefit much from it

    Actually, I checked that. Unfortunately, the "lefty" toggle is only touch control based, and does not apply to animation. I commented like that in a similar post, but had to correct myself afterwards.

    Mojang can add off hand feature to bedrock versions like win 10 consol and other which have separate gamepad but they have to struggle with mobile, they can add another coloum for off hand like Java in hot bar whenever player click on off hand coloum main hand switches with off hand and when clicked again it changes to main hand or right hand.

    I totally agree with this! I am an MCPE user and as a lefty love the left handed feature, but soon realized that though it is useful, you still appear to be using your right hand as the main, and left hand as your off hand. This also constitutes with actions, such as waving, which shows the character using their right hand, even if you are in lefty mode. Minecraft  has stuff for people with prosthetics, vitiligo, etc. Why haven’t they fixed this for lefties? We are around 10% of the population, anyways! Also, does anyone know how we can get this post more publicly (given that it is three years old)? I’m new to the feedback option (I didn’t know it was a thing) and would love to get this reviewed by developers.
