Dead Coral in Minecraft currently has no use except for an annoying nuissance for new players who happened to place their proudly-collected coral on land. So why don’t we give them a use?
A new beach biome, the Tidepool biome, should be added. It can connect to normal, lukewarm, and cold oceans, but not frozen and warm.
The entire biome is essentially made of different varieties of dead coral, dead coral fans, and (much more rarely) dead coral plants. Small pools of water also are commonly found in the dead coral. Alive coral is not found at all in this biome. Seagrass can generate in the water pools along with sea anemones and sea urchins (not sure if they will be plant or mob, it’s up to Mojang). Crabs could also spawn here if added.
Ground cover should be a mixture of sand and gravel. Tidepools should be somewhat uncommon.
