Add more fictional biomes (like mooshroom fields)

First off I would like to mention I am not completely sure if this is where I should post this.

 I remember being a young little boy and exploring my very first Minecraft world on the Xbox 360, I remember seeing this huge island in the middle of a great ocean and being instantly drowned in a pure emotion of wonder as Subwoofer Lullaby started playing. I was reminded of this moment after watching PewDiePie's Minecraft let's play series after he naively questions all the little quirks of the fictional biome. So I was thinking what if we added a new biome into Minecraft, one just like the mooshroom biome, one completely fictional, not like a jungle or plains (they are amazing biomes don't get me wrong) but something that can add in that sense of discovery back into us minecraft veterans that have been playing for a good amount of Minecraft's existence.
 To sort of give a bit of inspiration I was thinking of something like a biome with lots of gravel or maybe a new stone variant, with giant mountains or hills, a biome with gems that can reach up to the sky, a biome where when you find it you cherish it like as if it was your own discovery no one else's, as if you owned that biome and you are proud of it's existence.
