That would be real cool as you sometimes see skeletons have a shootout when they accidentally hit each other instead of the player, so having a bit of tension between different types of hostile mobs would be really interesting.

I agree that Illagers shouldn't be on the zombies side and it would make the game world a lot more livelier. I have always wished their were more mob interactions in the game and adding stuff like this would be really cool. They would obviously not attack creepers or endermen and the creepers would not attack them like wise. It would be cool though if pillagers attacked creepers too because they would be the only mob to do it and maybe they could do it by walking backwards while shooting their crossbows from a distance at them. They wouldn't attack endermen though... no one wants to pick a fight with a enderman.

I have thought about this alot and totally agree! The only concern i see happening is the mansion is very dark and was designed to have mobs spawn in to add difficulty. Their best bet is to add more light sources in the rooms and hallways and to balance this spawn more illagers in their place.

I think the illagers would focus on killing the zombies, so they would even team up with the iron golems at night.

Perhaps the illagers at woodland mansions are slightly different from the others (like a cult or something) which would explain why not all illagers can use any type of magic. illagers would not attack skeletons unless provoked though, as skeletons don't attack them or villagers.
