(Content Request) Implement Villages

Villages would spawn naturally, and you could trade with the villagers that live there. You could trade blocks for emeralds, or use emeralds to buy blocks. Emeralds would be rarely found while mining stone.

Sometimes, zombies or pillagers would attack the village, and defending them will reward you with some blocks. Villages are usually protected with iron golems.

    Maybe even add limited trades where you can trade rare blocks or mobs for gems (premium currency)

    Sounds nice, but the trading has to be extremely limited. Also, I think that preference and trade cost modifying events should not be added (Like 1.13). 1.14 Villagers are too easy to exploit and get extremely good trades.

    Instead of emeralds maybe just use rubies. OR swap rubies with emeralds.

    Make it so that they are like adventures; you need to place a build plate down where all the villagers are, then you can trade?

    there needs to be a trade where you can trade sticks for this currency, which in exchange can be traded for enchanted gear

    make it so the pillager's have a tower and when you kill a pillager it gives bad juju then you go to a village and a raid starts. If you win the raid you get a effect that makes all the trades better.

    I’m seeing a lot of comments saying this is already in the game. Just to be clear, this idea was for Minecraft Earth, the now discontinued game. It was a suggestion to implement villages into it in a similar style to how they are in the main game.
