Siren

In the Ocean the Ocean has one hostile mob the drowns, and do they have anything that is Hostile on the surface Ocean? No, they don't so they should add the Sirens because, at first they look like Innocent mermaids but when you look at them you get dragged to them even if your in a boat, they use their Enchanting Voice to bring there enemy's to them.

After that once you get close to them they reveal their true self to Sirens. The Sirens should be on a Small stone Island/Rock in the middle of the ocean, If you look at the Sirens, It will lure you to it. It will still follow you until you get 25 Blocks away from them, the sirens will go back to it's island.

When you get away from it, it will transform back to its original looking self, as a Innocent looking mermaid and it will wait for it's next player to look at it.

Even when you look at one of the Sirens it will trigger all of the Sirens near it, the Sirens will come in pairs of 2 or 3. To make it not hear their Enchanting Voice you can craft Ear plugs.

The Siren will also have different colour hair. (Blonde, Brown and black) It will have 100 or 50 Health. Even if your not Directly not looking at the Sirens you will still get lured to the them, they also swim faster then the player. I got this Idea from Ice and fire. If Minecraft adds this I will be so happy.

    Also They can be around the deep Ocean, And thank you if you like my post I am really thankful will read everyone Comments. And this is for the next update because you can choose your own Biome to Update I picked this For Animals because I was talking about the Siren and the Biome.

    Here is an idea that I think would make them better . 1 there should also be a type of mermaid that sits on rocks they will trade with you, and the trades should be good. (So that the player would get close enough to hear the siren) 2 the should not follow you Youl just lose control of your character, heart particles will show up around you and your screen will turn pink, this should also be an effect called love. 3 But once your on the island the beautiful mermaid will become its true form! It is a scaly monster with big flipper like wings on its back and a flipper like the mermaid it's eyes will turn red and it's head will be the shape of a dolphins they are green and scaly, and make a sound like this "hehehehehehehehermmmm if killed it will and drop the flute of the siren which will let you enslave any illager or make villager give you free stuff ,only one has per flute effect on illagers is permanent take not of this comment please!

    But wouldn't that be weird because when your not looking at them they still make you love them? But also they couldn't trade in mythology second overall that's all of the detail that the Scientific Documentary already has and that's all in one paragraph or you could say multiply back in Greek it is been said they can't trade they are hostile creatures

    maybe not singing to lure, maybe an amazing drop, they may have the item on their chest, and drop it. They will also hit hard.Causing reckless players deaths.

    MOJANG LISTEN TO THIS AMAZING POST! WE NEED NOT DROWNDS, BUT SIRENS! (Also thank you @brooklycannon06, this is amazing that I am not the only person who loves mythology!) I feel like there should be the three types of sirens that mythology mentions: the celestial, the generative, and the purificatory / cathartic. The first would have blonde hair, the second brown, and the third, black for they’re respecting rulers. (The first under Zeus, the second under Poseidon, and the third Hades.) The sirens should also be added to the Greek Mythology Mash-up world pack that is in the Marketplace. If you have stuck around long enough to read this through, I will be very happy!

    i like the idea! i would want there to be a rare chance of a siren being nice or something and it could lead you to treasure or something- idk just a thought

    The sirens should drop the Nautilus shell instead of the drowns so that there's a pretty good reason for them to be in minecraft
