I propose a solution to iron farms being rather slow by adjusting a few mechanics, without changing the entire system. If one village can produce 200 ingots per hour, instead of 32, we could see 1000 ingots per hour by stacking 5 villages. That's still 50 villagers, and will be pretty laggy. Also, I believe 21 beds is rather unintuitive, especially if only ten villagers are required. As far as parity with Java, an implimented "scare tactic" should double the rates of the farm, but also require a lot more effort into building an iron farm. Someone playing singleplayer would probably settle for a single village, but multiplayer servers and realms need more iron. I believe with this compromise, the amount of iron gained would equal the effort it takes to build such a farm. A summary of proposed changes are: (1) easier village stacking (2) ten villagers and ten beds required for iron golems to spawn (3) a shorter cooldown between golem spawning, which would increase rates without sacrificing performance (4) a scare tactic that would double the proposed rates.
