(Console Parity) Switching Armor With a Hand Holding Armor

So us Minecraft players can switch armor quickly when holding the equipment and right clicking it but on Java we can’t do that when we’re already wearing an armor piece. Please make this possible on Java. It would be nice to switch from my Elytra to my Diamond Chestplate without having to open up my inventory to do so.

    Before I thought it was smart that you couldn't click on the armor if you already were wearing that piece. Now I realize that it's way less convenient than clicking twice to put the piece back on if it was better.

    This is now possible on Java. This is also a thing in Bedrock.
