I think a native Quest port would be absolutely fantastic.  Something that supports the Touch controllers instead of requiring the additional pairing of an XBox controller.  This game would result in TONS of people never taking their headset off again.

If you are going to add it make sure it is FULL 6DOF! Minecraft in the oculus quest would be one of the best experiences on the device, and I really hope that it comes to the quest!

I would absolutely be willing to pay AAA console prices for a clean Minecraft port on the Oculus store. I'm not an expert with side-loading and would love to be able to play my favorite game with my little brother while I'm traveling on the road.

I think that Minecraft definitely should be added to the quest. Minecraft is an incredibly fun game, you can build anything, make incredible things, or just have fun. It also has incredible replay ability, you can make an infinite number of houses, things, etc. but it has always been tethered to a console, laptop, pc, or be headset that requires a pc and is expensive, with cords. I believe if Minecraft was added to quest, it would be amazing. Being able to experience it even more, in different ways like be, and anywhere with the quest, without cords! That would be absolutely amazing. I’m sure it would sell a lot too. I would recommend being able to go back to older versions on it though, just Incase some version has an error, or if people prefer an older version maybe. It would be the best thing to happen to the quest, because currently there isn’t really any games you can put a lot of time into that people are familiar with

Bring Minecraft to the Oculus Quest! Being wireless is a game changer and Minecraft could be one of the most immersive experiences on the headset yet! Make sure to support the touch controllers though and not make us have to connect a x box controller.

I would love to see Minecraft ported to the quest.

I would love the option to shoot arrows with motion controls and to actually swing a sword or tool.
Regular button controls would need to be supported too because not everyone would want to use gestures all the time.

It would be really cool to do something different with the menus. I would like to physically interact with my inventory instead of just moving a cursor around.

Minecraft ported straight over would be cool, but adding support for VR specific gameplay elements would be next level.

I would absolutely love a Quest version of Minecraft with 6DoF that also allows me to be able to chop trees with my own two hands! Talk about the future right there.

Absolutely, on the Oculus Quest. Half the reason I GOT a Quest is because I thought Minecraft would be a launch title. I also assumed it would be the Java edition somehow, and therefore receptive to modding.

    Being wrong *twice* was disheartening...

Minecraft VR looks fun from the footage i've seen. Just as long as it has 6dof and the hands follow the controllers it would be great.

I would love to see this on the Oculus Quest; I just hope that mods will work, along with true 6DoF movement and interactions! :-D

Every Quest owner would immediately be a Minecraft user. Unless there's a huge obstacle nobody is seeing, this is a slam dunk.

Thanks for creating a separate count for the quest. I loved the Oculus rift version and would love to play some version of that on the quest. Thanks for the chance to make our voices heard!

FRIGGIN JESUS WE NEED THIS! While I still had my vive I played vivecraft and it was SO SO SO SO SO fun and I really want that for my oculus quest. And PLEASE make it the same as it was for vivecraft (having arms and whatnot) and not just a Minecraft you need a controller for that just happens to be in vr.

I would love to see a unique approach to VR if a Quest version is ever available.

Like swinging my arms with a diamond pickaxe and breaking all the stones in one swing. or hitting the obsidian 10 times to break it. It'd be nice to be able to switch arms. one arm could get tired really fast. or double swing two diamond pickaxes? that'd be great!!!

I am completely down for this! Trying to stream it from my PC (java edition with mods) can get tedious at times, but still fun. If it was native to the Quest, I'd be down for either a limited time discount for those who already own Minecraft (like with the release of Bedrock for PC) or buy the game again if I had to.

I will say that I'd be mildly disappointed if it wasn't compatible with the Java release, but understanding why that was the case. To be honest, it would probably make me play the Bedrock edition more because of it.

Also if this does get pushed through, can we have cross platform sync? I assume it'll be put on it like for PC and Mobile versions, but I just want to put that out there. I would like to use the same skin for the account.

Edit: I wasn't aware (somehow) that Minecraft was already ported to Gear Vr. Some additional requests: Please let us use full roomscale interaction and have compatibility with the Oculus Touch controlers (similar to how Vivecraft has implemented their experience)

Minecraft fits perfectly into the Quest's performance profile.  It's a no-brainer.  And, it's important that mods be supported.

There's no way this wouldn't top the charts on the quest store. This could outsell beat Saber if that's even possible. Quest users are starving for a long game to lose themselves in. This is a no brainer.

I think the potential for using a field to play around in minecraft could be insane. Plus a scalable view would be cool too

This would be a smart idea and I’m surprised there isn’t more demand, maybe bring on the vive craft team to help with the development
