Minecraft for Quest... How ironic, huh? Minecraft in some circles is a game about the quest of self-discovery. So why don't we bring it full circle and bring Minecraft to the Quest? Please?

This would by far be the talk around my friend group and the hours upon hours of time and money spent would be crazy due to all me and my friends begging for this because we all have quest but the real question is where’s minecraft

I really think this is a great idea. I have a quest and I love it. One thing is though, that I can’t play Minecraft on it (well you can, but it’s a huge hassle). I’m glad many people support this idea!

I’d love if the vr versions of the game were updated to be more like vivecraft when not in console mode, like tp, and punching blocks with your hands instead of pressing a trigger etc etc

This is a great idea, especially with bedrock edition, because it will bring even more people to the platform, also, is there any updates on the decision making process at six thousand votes?

I've been playing minecraft for years. I first played it on the xbox 360. It was an amazing experience. I remember playing it at night with a friend. He was telling me to build shelter because it was getting dark. But I ignored him not thinking anything of it. Suddenly a creeper appeared in front of me and exploded. I was terrified. I didn't want to keep playing because of how bad it spooked me. I asked him if I could borrow his console, and I was able to play the game more and understand it better. Later on down the road another friend of mine got minecraft for 360 as well. Every time I went to his house, we'd play for hours. Building rollar coasters, creating a giant mansion, eventually making a nether portal and having mobs sneak into our house from there. His brother ended up deleting our world though because he raged, hard. One day I heard about pocket edition being released. I was elated! I only had an ipod touch 4G at the time, but if I could tell you what the battery was used on the most, it was that. Fast forward a few years, and I got a laptop. There I was able to play Minecraft on the PC! It was the best experience ever! Getting to play on servers ONLINE! With all different kinds of unique plugins, and mods. I remember it taking me a while to figure out how to type in game, but I eventually got the hang of it. Not too long after, a player offered to let me create a room in his mansion because I was a complete novice. I was really thankful. I've made so many memories on Minecraft. I haven't been able to play at all on my PC now since all the updates the game has gotten. My laptop only has 2GB of ram, so I was able to enjoy it down to the end. I haven't' been able to play by myself on my PC for over 4 years now. I miss it a lot. I got an oculus quest: because of the lack of my PC not working, I have dreamed of playing minecraft in VR for years since the first time I saw a video on youtube. Please. You guys have been able to create the minecraft experience into so many new consoles. Even the switch and nintendo ds!

Please create it on the Oculus Quest as well. So I can continue making new memories with my friends.

    -Sincerely Matt

I 100% agree with this. The Bedrock Edition of Minecraft is already catered towards more casual players or members of the community on a budget that can't afford a fancy computer. Bringing the Oculus Quest provides its users with a new, longplay game and minecraft players an incentive to purchase a VR headset.

Usually VR is reserved for customers with a high budget and a beefy computer. However, the Oculus Quest allows the casual consumer to experience VR, perfect for Minecraft. This is a really good business opportunity for Oculus and Mojang/Microsoft. I’ve noticed that VR, while having fun and interesting games, don’t have long play games. At least not any offered on their quest website. This is the perfect opportunity for Minecraft to seal the deal with VR. Having it on Bedrock would still allow for cross play between systems and friends.

I think that it would be a good idea for a quest version.  Its a pain going on sidequest since it takes a while please make an oculus quest version

I Personally think there should be a java edition since vivecraft and riftcraft already exist's so it would be easy to port vr over to quest. if its similar to gear vr edition i will be disappointed or if its bedrock edition

I agree, this would boost Mojang’s profit significantly considering the oculus quest is the next major step in mass producing Vr to the public. As more and more people are buying oculus quests it would be a great addition to the quest to have Minecraft Vr in the oculus store. The quest could run Minecraft fairly easily considering Minecraft is not a graphically intensive game as it is made up of large pixels and cubes. These are the reasons I think Minecraft Vr should be on oculus quest in the future.

I have a crappy PC, so I can't use the Oculus link cable to play Minecraft on my quest, which sucks. I've been a fan of Minecraft for more than five years, and I would love to experience it in VR

YES! It would add even more players to minecraft, and will be the most immersive. If its bedrock it would be even better, because that means that VR, Consoles, and PC can all play together!

This is a great idea, especially if you can bring Minecraft Dungeons to the Oculus Quest! Also, the new tether option should allow for the graphic options to be upscaled.
