I think this is a good idea because it would be the first decent minecraft experience that’s complete untethered, and you can also be very immersed as it is vr instead of on a phone or nintendo switch, etc

As a Minecraft veteran that's been playing since Alpha I would love nothing more than to experience it on the Oculus Quest!

I have purchased Minecraft 5 times now. I would love to be able to see it in quest without jumping through a ton of hoops to approximate it with the Gear VR version. I feel there is already a version that exists that is nearly there. Please finish the port so I can buy it again.

I think this would be a very good idea because without wires you could really feel immersed in the Minecraft world and create, survive and explore with the full 6 degrees of freedom and high resolution screen! Seeing how Minecraft is not that performance demanding it would work amazingly with the Oculus Quest! I hope this great idea becomes reality soon!

Ever since I saw a youtube video I've craved soaring over the blocky landscape in VR. Please make it happen! It would finaly be like I was inside the video games of my youth!

Around 1 million Quest headsets have sold in a couple months. It's a wise decision to bring this to Quest, which will soon be one of the most popular VR headsets.

Minecraft is by far my favorite gaming experience in my 30 years of gaming. I'd like to recommend a robust multiplayer system. That way my whole family could play at the same time.

I couldn't agree more as to getting this on the oculus quest. No wires on the quest provides a lot of free movement which would be required in Minecraft. I really hope this post gets noticed as it is something I would love and many many of my friends would too!

I would rebuy for the Quest in a heartbeat. I'd also be much more inclined to get into the multiplayer experience on Quest vs. PC. I have the game on PC and am using Vivecraft with my HTC Vive but I would love the simplicity and wireless freedom of the Quest. It's also the perfect device to bring to work and when visiting friends and family, and minecraft is such a great way to show off the infinite possibilities of VR. I'm sure you will bring it to the Quest eventually and I'm definitely looking forward to it!

I think that Minecraft would be great on the Quest. It would be easy to get into because there aren’t any wires. It would be really immersive.

Owner of Oculus Quest here, having a proper version of Minecraft would be awesome. Right now many people are just sideloading the GearVR version which is still cool but is definitely not the "proper" way to play it on such an awesome platform like the Quest, especially because there is no Touch implementation. Would be a killer app

The most popular game alongside the best, most accessible 6DOF headset? It's a dream come true and a great way to advance VR!

Being able to play minecraft on wireless VR with 6dof and touch controllers would be a game changer. It has been proven that minecraft gear vr can run smoothly on the quest with up to 25 chunks, so why not make some graphical and gameplay improvements and release a Bedrock version made for the Quest?

Its diabolical that GearVR has a version and it never came to Oculus Go at the very least! Now there couldn't be a better suited device than the Oculus Quest to play Minecraft! Portable Standalone VR, I'm sure it would be dangerously addictive for many many people that love Minecraft, the ease and convenience of it being pick up and play would be a dream. I'd also imagine once people have had a taste of the game in VR on quest it would sell very well!

I agree that it should be ported to the Quest. I just bought my Oculus Quest last Monday, and i'm absolutely in love with it. I didn't want to have to put a ton of money into getting a VR ready PC/Laptop and have the hassle of all the cords, so this is a wonderful compromise. And for someone like me (who has never tried VR before), being so immersed into it for the first time is something special. I was hoping there would be Minecraft on the Quest already, but sadly I came to the reality that there wasn't. I have been a huge fan of Minecraft ever since it first released, and played it ever since. To actually be "inside" a virtual reality Minecraft world, and have to use your arms and everything to fight, mine, craft, ect. would be something out of this world. I've only seen videos of people playing it, and I can tell you that i'm already on-board with the idea. I truly hope that Minecraft is playable 100% on the Quest in the near future. We can only hope.

Both Oculus and Microsoft will make alot of money if you release minecraft on the quest and maybe rift. And also make tons of money if there was a oculus quest minecraft bundle with the game and themed headset and controllers.

I agree.minecraft absence in the quest is what gives me second thoughts about buying the oculus quest. Im sure if minecraft gets released officially for the quest my wallet will walk itself to best buy and purchase both the headset and game for me.

PLEASE DO THIS. I would love to be able to play with my friends who don't own powerful enough PCs to run VR. On top of that, think about the money you could make by porting one of the most popular games released in the past 10 years to a system that's already been sold out everywhere. Trust me this would be a worthwhile investment.

I'm surprised this wasn't on Quest week one or even just teased, the monetary value for Microsoft is through the roof with the popularity of the quest combined with the popularity of Minecraft. Though, I would prefer a more VR centric focus instead of a port utilising the touch controllers as a motion tracked gamepad. Something like Vivecraft where you can actually punch the blocks and pull the bows back, just the little details.
