My biggest reason for getting an oculus quest was my seven year old who is obsessed with Minecraft. Similarly there are SO MANY other kids who would go nuts over Minecraft VR for quest. Don’t even get me started on the adults I know who are into Minecraft and have purchased a quest with Minecraft in mind. I’m hoping it is only a matter of time for this to happen because I know a lot of people who will pay whatever price for Minecraft for Quest. It will bring in a lot of money for sure! Please move this forward!!

I feel that from a business standpoint this would be a huge monetary success for Microsoft if you they got Minecraft on Quest, there is such a large amount of people that use it now including me, and I bet about 95% of people wouldn’t mind paying for the game again

They have already done this OFFICIALLY, WITH TOUCH CONTROLS, for the Oculus Rift. Why haven't they done this already for Oculus Quest? I know NOTHING about coding or how games are made, but is it really that hard to make a version for Quest?

How about an expanded version of the one available on the android phone? That would be awesome.

I think that the making this available to the Oculus quest is a great opportunity,  it seems this is one of the faster growing platforms in all of video gaming.   I know me and my 2 boys would really love it.

That'd be great, but everyone hates Bedrock Minecraft, absolutely nobody would like that, if it was Java, every YouTuber would be buzzing about it

I think the problem is that the Oculus quest guidelines are to strict for minecraft, you have to have a head tracking loading screen in 4 seconds, it takes almost a minute for my Minecraft to show the logo on screen on both my phone and my xbox, I don't think that the problem is Minecraft here, I think it is Oculus' fault for having too many rules. Just think about the great games declined by Oculus: Pavlov, crisis vrigade, that one hands are like Spiderman's webs parkour game, and many more

I agree on this topic not just because that it will be immersive for the viewers that will be using this headset but for the future of technology that lays ahead of us. The future of Minecraft will change everything, soon everything will be in VR and AR. Technology will advance for the greater good. That is why we need to advocate for the availability of Minecraft for the Oculus quest.

And with that, it should consist of a game that has evolved the world for over 10 years. for instance, Minecraft donated over $100,000 to the water charity, not only that but minecraft is motivating people to start doing architecture. Who knows what VR will do for the people that plays Minecraft. This game could be a tool for a immersive experience to make architecture in VR instead of using a screen that is right in front of you.

That is why we should implement Minecraft on a wireless VR headset. Not just on the Oculus quest but every other VR headset that is coming out for the next couple of years. The future of VR and AR starts now, and it all starts with us discussing and voting for this topic.

Also If they make it, they should make it Java

That reason is because I myself would love having mods as well as texture packs

Minecraft on Quest would be GREAT! But the only problems are, 1. If you sideload the Gear VR Edition to Quest, because you didn't pay any money for it, your Oculus account could be perma-banned, and 2. If you wanna play Minecraft on Quest the other way, you need a VR-Ready PC, which costs A LOT, and 99% of Minecraft fans are kids, and kids' electronics usually cost $400 or less.

I have really wanted a Minecraft vr experience for a while now. The one problem with having a minecraft vr experience is that i do not have a beefy computer to use a rift or HTC VIVE or anything like that. So i really support this idea because i will be receiving a quest soon and i was really hoping i could get a vr minecraft experience  in something that doesn't require a computer and that is portable.

                                                                            Sincerely.

Reasons for Minecraft availability on quest
    - A lot of people have quests
    - The quest player base is increasing quickly
    - A large percentage of quest owners including me would be willing to buy Minecraft on the quest including me and I am will to pay up to 60 dollars but I think the price should be 30 dollars
    - Mojang would make more money off of more Minecraft sales
    - Mojang would make more money off more marketplace sales
    - people who don’t buy marketplace items like me would be more willing to buy them because they are cooler in VR
    - Minecraft would become more popular
    - the quest is one of the most popular VR headsets
    - Minecraft is an amazing game in VR

Dude, I hope they don't add Bedrock to it, that version is over monetized barely updated garbage.

I think this a great idea since the Oculus Quest now has sold 180 000 units so i think it would bring a new perspective to Minecraft in VR since the oculus quest is so portable and can be used outside thou Oculus doesn't recomend it.

I would love to see minecraft on Oculus Quest

It’s probably gonna be really hard because you’re gonna need a lot of room to move around. But the real question is how are you gonna be able to place blocks and(or) break blocks and how will you craft things or cook things or open chests or ride animals and how mine/interact with your friends, mobs, animals and more so if I had to guess all of that would take a really long time.

If we do get Minecraft on the Quest, which I would like, I think it should be Bedrock so we can play with our friends.

i love playing both version bedrock and java eddition i think ocluls would be able to handle bedrock edition as its using androide prossesor same as androide phone as bedrock on mobile devices then in the future work on java eddition cant wait

Oculus quest edition sounds like a great idea. As we have experienced it with the Vive edition, they still need to convert the VR over to the quest edition as they work with little software available on quest. we just have to be patient.

(disclaimer: this is just a theory)
