Minecraft in VR is already a great idea that I dreamed about when I was younger. The oculus quest is the most affordable and best vr platform for it. Please make it happen.

I would really like there to be a bedrock version for VR headsets. It needs to be on ALL major VR platforms as quickly as possible! I support this plan! Come on, mojang!

It would be nice to have a natively run 100% Microsoft port for the Quest.  Wireless play is the only way that I'd care to do this.  I tried the GearVr version and it made me ill but I'm sure a Quest version would be great with enough room and proper player controls.

A quest version of Minecraft would be awesome. I would be perfectly fine with a bedrock bedrock version as it has a wide variety of cross compatibility with other platforms including Win 10 and Xbox.

I think this is an amazing idea! I just bought the quest and there aren't a lot of sandbox games or really any I could find, Minecraft ids the perfect game to have on quest because it is $7 which is cheap for quest (at least I assume because on gear VR it is that price.) and it is a huge game you can play with friends or just get terrified by creepers.

Personally, I think that Bedrock on the quest and go are perfect. The whole point is that they are portable! I can take my quest to my friend's house, while he plays Minecraft on his Xbox! That's the point, you don't need a gaming computer, so you can take it anywhere. Unlike Java, which runs on Pcs, and is not to be packed up and taken to someone's house. Phones, Nintendo switches and laptops with bedrock can go anywhere, along with the quest of course. I was really hoping it would become official by this Christmas. If I need to sideload Vive whatever I will. But all my friends are on bedrock, I even own an Xbox too. And an iPad. They both have Minecraft, so I can have friends over and we can all play. I know it's hard, with external tracking and Minecraft on the switch, big even a beta/demo to tie us over. I want full hand tracking, so I can working from collected wood. It makes for a fun experience with others!

based on the fact that most if not all people who have a headset or are going to then the week the releases most of the people who voted will get the game, that's around 6,000 which would bring the game to the popular page quickly and then increase sales. even people who don't like regular Minecraft have to acknowledge that it would be awesome in VR.

I am 100% for this. I know the team put a lot of hard work into the Oculus Go version, but that version cannot take advantage of Oculus remote tracking or 6dof. I would love to see Minecraft on the Quest, especially for bedrock version.

The Oculus Quest is an amazing solution for VR, it is convenient well implemented and fully featured package. This opens it up to a much larger potential market than any other headset. Minecraft has the status of being a "Killer app", and having such a game on a system not only brings the system legitimacy buy also brings people to the game. I remember when Minecraft was announced to be within the launch window on the Nintendo Switch, I bought bought the console specifically to play Minecraft. It was amazing being able to take the game with me on the go, experience Minecraft in different settings. I can't imagine the feelings it would create to experience Minecraft in VR for the first time. I hope value can be found in expanding Minecraft's presence to this system.

You have to put this on the quest like the only game I’m really really looking forward to is Arizona sunshine (expected dec 5 2019) and Minecraft. You know how many people would love to see this. Especially people like me. This would really make people happy.

I have never had any vr, but am considering buying the oculus quest, however I am also considering the new xbox, so if minecraft came out on the quest, I would go for the quest. I have always been a great fan of minecraft, playing since the 2012 minecraft update (1.5?) When I was 7 and since I heard about vr, all I've wanted to do is play minecraft on it, i think it would be an amazing concept, but my family is not the wealthiest and cannot afford the pc vrs, so quest vr is my only chance to play it, please mojang bring it out on quest.

I hope that Mojang sees this as an opportunity to join a growing market. Minecraft, one of the biggest games in the video game industry would be the perfect medium to attract people that were already vr users but also to bring in more new people to vr. I would love to have this game and be able to feel fully immersed in it with my little sister and little brother that live in my home country and feel as if we were next to each other. Thank you for considering pointing the game over and happy thanksgiving!

I don't know a ton about VR, but I think if gear VR is able to run minecraft then it only makes sense for the quest to be the next step. Higher power, plus I know a lot of people would love it. Like you said, with the wireless aspect of the quest it would make the game feel truly immersive, plus it would be the best game on the platform (imo). Even if it was on the expensive side of vr games (30+) I would still pay for it

It would bring hundreds of hours of a game play which would be great because be is struggling with that right now especially on less powerful equipment limiting what games we have access to

This is such a good Idea. While using Steam VR and playing minecraft VR via quest link is possible, I'd be more than happy to buy the game again for the quest. I own every version avaliable and have been dreaming of Mincraft VR since I started way back in the day. Teatherless with full 6 degrees of freedom + usable contractors would be a game changer. The whole reason I bought the samsung VR was to play mincraft, but it only supported X-box controllers. I would never pay more than the Java version cost. But somewhere in between java and mobile would be doable. $10-20.

I feel like if there is a port to the quest, it should be similar to the Vivecraft mod for Java edition. You have two hands, one has the hotbar, health, hunger, ect. But also be similar to the GearVR version in ways such as the living room scenario, or if thats too difficult with the touch controllers, remove it entirely.

Other than that, I dont even own a quest (Yet!) But would LOVE and ADORE a quest port. Hopefully I get a quest soon so I can play a port that possibly comes to it.

I can't believe this isn't already a thing!  I finally convinced the wife that we need set of Oculus Quests for the whole family so we can Minecraft together in style, but now I find out Minecraft isn't available on the best VR Headset available!?!

This is like finding some lost civilization that never thought to combine peanut butter and jelly!

Personally, I think the reason they haven’t made a version of Minecraft for the oculus quest because they just came out with Minecraft: Earth, and they want people (and their team) to focus it. If they do start working on a quest version, (and I really hope they do) it’ll probably be a few weeks, or maybe months after they break even on Minecraft: Earth, if they haven’t already. All we can do until they announce a quest version is wait, hope and pray. The reason I want Minecraft on the quest is I’m just about to get one and I would love to be able play such an awesome game on it. I think Mojang needs to jump on the opportunity to put Minecraft on the oculus quest right now while there’s still a small amount of games on it, because if they do they’ll benefit not only themselves and their consumers, but they’ll also be helping oculus. Minecraft for the oculus quest would be so big it would pull in loads of people, and create new opportunities for oculus to release new, awesome games. Please, Mojang, do this for us.

If it does come to the Quest would they be doing motion controls? So far I think the only version of minecraft vr with motion controls is java with vivecraft

Well darn it, the only reason I bought the Oculus Quest was to play Minecraft. I don't play any other game. Very sad

Minecraft is, and has been one of the most popular games ever on almost every platform... I have purchased it for PC, PS4, PS Vita, XBox One, and PS3, and would definitely purchase again if it was available for the oculus quest. Please consider in making this possible for us to use and enjoy the feeling of being able to feel like as if we are really there.
