It needs to be bedrock edition because that’s more easier to play with others

I disagree in terms of feasibility because the new Bedrock rendering engine (for future users, I'm referring to the new ray tracing engine and the "Render Dragon") might be too much for the Oculus Quest.

If they are able to get it on the Oculus Quest, then more power to them!

This needs roomscale and Oculus Touch support.

We NEED this on the Quest! There's not enough full-length games on there, and Minecraft would be awesome! A lot of games on the store cost 30$ even though you may only get 4 hours of playtime. Even though it seems Microsoft is making an Xbox headset, they would make a huge profit from this that would benefit Quest sales and Minecraft sales.

This ll be cool , i thing it will be better to add java edition :
1th - in java you can sing up for free , you dont need to buy again one minecraft (mcpe)
2th - also you can play there with touch and with any else controller you can choose
3th - there are most of servers free - it is easier to play together ( i play jaba edition on computer only because it is free to play on the servers)
So if Mojang do something like java-bedrock version cross platform in pc and mobile - it will be cool to play that awesome game . Thank You for listening. Ag

I think that a bedrock version for quest would be awesome. I mean what if you want to head over to a friends house and you want to play Minecraft but not have to take turns on the quest. Someone could play o. Their quest and someone on their Xbox or phone or even laptop. It would make a cross platform on a whole different level. Even adding a oculus quest be multiplayer for people who want survival games but only for those on vr

I would really like this for Quest because of just how awesome Minecraft is and since Quest is my only VR headset it is my only way of getting a VR version of the game without shelling out more cash.

We recently picked up the Quest and I've had the Gear VR on the Samsung 7 and now 10 for quite a while.   The first thing my kids said when buying the quest was...   "Can we play Minecraft on it?"

    Please add Minecraft VR support.

Well if it is going to be bedrock edition does that mean we would have to use an xbox controller or something? If so thats kinda lama tbh.

Yes, I definitely want minecraft on the oculus quest! As it is, there aren't many good multiplayer games on the quest, and minecraft would be great for that. Furthermore, minecraft has so many things to do so it will continue to be fun to play. It would be so awesome to see what it looks like to actually be in the worlds with friends. Honestly, I think bedrock would be a good choice since it is already available on so many platforms. I would like either version on the quest though. Minecraft is a legendary game, and if it is possible to bring it to quest, I think it would be well received and super fun and awesome to play.

Please please please! It's been done by running the Go version on the Quest. Shouldn't be that difficult to port. Fingers crossed.

Cross-platform play would only exist if you used an Xbox controller, if you want Oculus Touch controller support, then it would be called "Minecraft: Oculus Quest Edition", and not be cross-platform.

I really wouldn't mind having a bedrock version. I think it would be just as fun with it being bedrock or java. MINECRAFT IS MINECRAFT PEOPLE!

I understand and appreciate that you are taking the time to perfect Minecraft for Oculus Go & Quest but am confused as to why it is taking so long. The Gear VR version of Minecraft, when side loaded to either the Go or Quest works amazingly with no issues whatsoever. 6DoF even works! Really all is needed at this point is to add support for the Oculus Touch controllers on the Quest. Go & Quest are basically Android devices in a headset so I don't see why it would take so long to port. Plus, you've already integrated touch controllers on the Rift, so I'm sure the code would already be there and porting it wouldn't be hard(considering it's the same bedrock version). It's slightly amusing to think about how much money Mojang and Microsoft are losing by not doing a simple port with support for Touch controllers on the Quest, and simply releasing it on the Go Oculus store.

I think giving the quest bedrock edition is fine IF minecraft makes it 6DOF since it's the whole idea of the quest and there's a way to get it free if you already have bedrock on an ipad or your phone.

I would probably pay an additional $10-$20 for a copy of Minecraft on the oculus quest because I have Minecraft on other devices including: Playstation 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and 1, pocket edition, Java edition, windows 10 edition, and Nintendo Switch edition.

Minecraft on oculus quest seems like a really good idea and id love to see it happen. Ive never really been able to get into vr because getting a good pc to run it all is just too expensive. But with the oculus quest its something i could actually afford and be able to play easily. It would add a whole new world of immersion to minecraft and would be available to a lot more people. I really dont see why this cant happen. I expect in the holiday season in 2020 this could really be a thing. After the whole minecraft earth scenario has died down a bit you could totally keep minecraft alive and kicking by releasing minecraft onto an affordable vr platform thats available to a wider range of people.

Minecraft for Quest... How ironic, huh? Minecraft in some circles is a game about the quest of self-discovery. So why don't we bring it full circle and bring Minecraft to the Quest? Please?
