I'm all for this as long as it's more like Vivecraft and less like the GearVR version however the option to control it with a gamepad and the "theater/tv" option should still be available

I have Minecraft vr on my oculus rift s, but I hate having to step over the cord. I got the quest because I’m just sick and tired of cords, and I feel the cordless freedom of the quest will make this game even better and more immersive.

Minecraft is such a great game for people to enjoy. Having it on the Quest will allow them to play anywhere they see fit. And allowing many more players! Optimizing the game for quest would surely be a great choice.

If they did, it should be called Oculus edition. Being able to play with other Oculus users sounds fun.

Everyone I have convinced to buy a quest has come back and asked; "Is Minecraft on it?"

Please get this on the oculus quest.  I use minecraft in psychotherapy with my kiddos and this would such a deeper immersive experience.  If possible for it to be multiplayer where I can join their world.

I am a newer YouTuber who streams and uploads everything Minecraft. I have enjoyed Minecraft since 2009 and play it with lots of friends. I just got the Oculus Quest and was sad to see that the official Minecraft was not on there. I feel that it would be an amazing idea to have that added for a cool new experience with the full 6 DOM (degrees of movement). I do know there are ways to play it through steam but that takes extra work with more cost to it. Plus a computer that can run with that. I hope that they are currently working on it. I do understand the logistical circumstances with the remotes and more fields of movement including all the extra code involved in that process. But with already having it on the rift, it shouldn’t be to hard to also move that to the Quest. Thank you for your time.

I would love, if we could punch Wood, like not hold a Button and wait till it's done breaking, but actually breaking with YOUR hand, same with swinging a sword, Counts as attacking and stuff.

Why we need Minecraft on the quest:

    - it would make Mojang and oculus lots of money since Minecraft is having it’s renaissance
    - with no wires it would make Minecraft very immersive to play
    - it could become one of the best open world games on the quest
    - if the version of Minecraft is bedrock you could do cross play

The only reason I’m holding back on buying the Oculus Quest is because I want Minecraft on it. If we get Minecraft on the Oculus Quest I will be so happy, please add it. I have a decent gaming pc but it’s not in an area where I can play vr, that’s why I need an Oculus Quest. One of the main reasons I wanted a vr headset was because of vr Minecraft, please listen to your supporters and fans and please add it on the Oculus Quest.

Minecraft on the quest would be the most immersive way to play without cables. If this happened everyone would buy it.

The Oculus Quest is the best platform to experience the incredible world of Minecraft. It's popular, easy-to-use and will give the opportunity to immerse players into marvelous world created by the community. No way to let this game unavailable on Oculus Quest. Please make it happen.

Honestly it would be so amazing is an official 6DoF Minecraft oculus quest edition (or just an adaptation of bedrock) would be released. I would buy it as soon as possible, just like many other people.

It would also bring more money to both Minecraft (Microsoft) and Oculus (FaceBook) from extra headsets and game copies being sold as a result of this - Maybe an opportunity for a collaborative advertising campaign?

For anyone else seeing this, please make sure to get your friends to vote for this, even if they don’t have a headset themselves. We need as many votes as we can get.

I have had Minecraft on the Xbox 360 since the moment it was in the console. Putting minecraft on the Oculus Quest is going to be a improvement and future of VR gaming and good for the fans. This VR is the first ever VR that can be counted as a console itself and i have big hopes of content in it. Let Minecraft become one of its biggest achievments of gaming on VR.

I would buy the quest if Minecraft with full tracking support was the only game supported on the platform. Minecraft is literally all I need and I really want motion controls as they are so much more accurate to use than a gamepad. Combat with a gamepad is so cumbersome.

This would be amazing, I just got my quest and I noticed that Minecraft wasn’t available. It might be because the quest just came out but I want it on the quest anyway.

Hi! I have a language school in Spain and I'm very interested in using Minecraft as a learning/teaching tool. I have been doing it for a while but now we are thinking of stepping up our game and being able to run Minecraft on a stand-alone device such as the Quest would be a dream come true.

    Get it done!!!!!
